Meet Jane

Founder Jane Applegate is also the co-founder of the Remarkable Women Project Inc., a New York-based nonprofit educational organization creating multimedia content and events highlighting the life stories of remarkable women throughout history whose accomplishments have not been fully recognized. She is developing an episodic series featuring stories about remarkable women around the world. The first Remarkable Women Global Summit took place in Dublin in March 2025. The next Summit is set for Summer 2027 in Europe. More information to come soon.

Applegate has produced and worked on several award-winning narrative and documentary films, including To Keep the Light, a film by Erica Fae about a lighthouse keeper in Maine, in the 1860’s who fights to keep her job after her husband dies. She’s also very proud of working with Nora Jacobson on The Hanji Box, shot in Vermont and New York. She also served as production manager on Harris Doran’s Beauty Mark, starring Cate Curtin. These films are available on several streaming platforms.

Jane has also written, produced a variety of short films and marketing videos for corporate clients including: Microsoft, Verizon, Bank of America and Sprint. Her corporate video partner was Nick Bridgen, an award-winning director and editor.

Applegate recently co-produced and co-directed a short video for the National Association of Women Artists to mark the group’s 136th anniversary. (Link on the Our Work page). Applegate has taught graduate level courses at Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and Quinnipiac University, She provides production consulting for filmmakers looking to co-produce projects around the world. She is a producer and shareholder in Greenlit Productions, an independent film company based in Vihti, Finland.

Meet Alicia

Freelance Producer

Alicia Godmasch is senior VP of development for the Remarkable Women Project Inc. and an American writer and film producer. She has produced both features and television series, which include Jordan Peele’s and Monkeypaw Productions reimagining of the popular prank series, “Scare Tactics” for USA Network. She has also produced the shows “Married at First Sight”, “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip”, Netflix’s “Titletown High” and OWN Network’s “Put a Ring on It”.

In 2021, Alicia published her first book, “Retrograde: The Darkness” which was featured on “TV Guide Magazine”, “Oz Entertainment Magazine” and “Gizmodo’s Must-Read List”. Alicia is a New Jersey native and magna cum laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was first introduced to the industry by her late uncle Wilmer Ames Jr. who was a writer for the New York Times and later Editor-in-Chief of Emerge Magazine. In her free time, Alicia enjoys traveling with her husband David, writing, hiking and playing volleyball.

Meet Thibault

Composer

Thibaut Falgairette is a French composer and music producer based in Switzerland. Founder of Swiss Media Productions, he has scored over 40 international projects, earning 24 awards for original music in film, series, documentaries, animation, and video games.
A graduate of the Sorbonne and ATLA School in Paris, Thibaut has collaborated with renowned artists such as Frédéric Chatoux (L’Opéra de Paris), Imelda Gabs, and Mélodie Pican.
His recent projects include See/Saw (by The Walking Dead’s R. Keith Harris) and Celestials, written by Jennifer Sumbu Longe (Sing, Despicable Me).
